1912
The day before WW1 most of the European men in the world were living just another day.
The day before WW2 most of the men of the world were living just another day.
They all saw the signs,
They all read the newspapers,
And I'm sure a few of the perspicacious among them,
FELT that the world was headed in a dark direction.
But most of them didn't do anything different,
The majority of them just carried on with their life, listening to their wife say "It will be okay"
Most men are victims of inaction.
Inaction has caused more unneeded deaths than action ever had.
It wouldn't have been easy to pack up and move,
It wouldn't have been easy or comfortable to do.
The German man who sold everything with the idea to travel to America in 1912,
He was labeled crazy,
His wife probably thought it was a bad idea and made it hard for him to commit to the decision,
But in hindsight,
He played a good move.
Many men thought it,
Many men tried but were convinced by their wife, family or coworkers to stop.
Only a few men DID.
You don't win any prizes for noticing things.
You win prizes for ACTING on what you notice.
I'm sure many of you reading this now notice where the world is headed,
But how many of you are going to do anything about it
If you don't know what to do.
We will teach you.
