They will teach their sons to hide, the age-old technique that did them well.
But one day,

A coward will find himself faced with oppression and nowhere to hide.
If not the father, it will find the sons.
And those cowards are the first to instantly bow down,
They will INSTANTLY fold to the pressure.
Because resistance is completely foreign to them.
They did so well at avoiding the need to fight that they never learned to fight in the first place.
They never learned to resist.
Exactly where the oppressor wanted them to begin with.
The Matrix only gives you a place to hide because it knows it removes your ABILITY to resist.
It removes your ability to teach your sons to resist.
You may enjoy the luxuries of hiding now.
But you or your descendants are certain to pay for it in the future.
